Passcode commitment
Last updated: September 22, 2026
NoFapp holds a passcode you don't know. It's what makes the product work, and it's also a responsibility. Here is what we publicly commit to.
If the service were to shut down
We will give at least thirty days' notice in the app, and we will return pending passcodes so that everyone can get theirs back. Nobody will stay locked in because we stopped.
If the server goes down
The twenty four hour delay is measured by the server. While it is unavailable, no request moves forward. We restore the service and requests resume where they were.
What we will never do
- Extend the twenty four hour delay to hold you back.
- Charge for getting a passcode back, or make it depend on a subscription.
- Refuse a release request, whatever the reason.
- Use the passcodes for anything other than giving them back to you.
What we cannot do
We know neither your name nor your email. To find your passcode, we need your support number, shown in the app (Profile, help): write it down somewhere. Without it, if you lose access to your Apple Account, we cannot identify your passcode, and the only way out is to reset the iPhone, which erases its content.
